Xiaoshan holds community governance competition

Xiaoshan district, Hangzhou held a speaking contest on community governance on April 2.
Seven community leaders took part in the contest and shared their experiences in grassroots-level management.
Participants were divided into three groups, with each focusing on a different topic. The three topics were community management, addressing challenges, and epidemic control.
Zhang Xiaoqin, Party secretary of Junliang Community, Chengxiang Street, took the top spot at the contest.
Zhang was recognized for her effective work in motivating and engaging community residents to get involved in volunteer activities to help prevent and control the virus.
Other community leaders also shared their insights into community governance and addressing challenges arising from grassroots-level management.
Xiaoshan district plans to continue to hold similar contests in the future.
