A handbook called COVID-19 Outbreak – Hospital Response Strategy was jointly published on April 11 by the Second Affiliated Hospital of the School of Medicine of Zhejiang University, Jack Ma Foundation, Alibaba Foundation, AliHealth and AliCoud.
The book was compiled by the hospital, with contributions from nearly 6,000 of the hospital's medical workers. It shares the hospital's experience in responding to the epidemic in terms of personnel and space management, nosocomial infection, healthcare procedures, supplies, information-based office and coordination with government and society, as well as frontline medics' treatment experiences.
The hospital has sent 189 medics to Hubei province to treat local COVID-19 patients. None of the medics became infected.
The book was published on the GMCC platform and jointly launched by the Jack Ma Foundation and Alibaba Foundation (https://covid-19.alibabacloud.com/zh), with Chinese and English versions available, and other language versions soon to follow.
