Hangzhou holds two sessions
The city of Hangzhou, capital of East China's Zhejiang province, is currently holding its biggest annual political event -- the two sessions.
The fifth session of the 13th Hangzhou Municipal People's Congress commenced at 9am on April 26 at the provincial Great Hall of the People.
A total of 491 deputies are attending the session and will hold discussions on the government work report, work plan, and city budget report, as well as submit motions and suggestions to the congress.
The fourth session of the 11th Hangzhou Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) convened on April 24.
Nearly 500 political advisers attended the opening ceremony and will offer comprehensive consultations on the city's major political, economic, and social issues over the following three days.
