China's first Alibaba Countryside Livestreaming Academy was officially launched in Zhejiang on April 23.

In an effort to boost the rural economy, the academy will leverage its live-streaming technology to help incubate live-streaming farmers at no charge as another initiative taken by Alibaba e-commerce platforms.
