Hangzhou Mayor Liu Xin said that the government should develop world-class business climate in the spirit of pursuing perfection on May 6.

Liu said that the government should strive to streamline the approval procedures and make breakthroughs in major reforms to bring senses of gains to companies and residents.

The mayor visited the Hangzhou Administrative Center to learn about how companies thought of the convenience of approval procedures on the spot on May 6. He also listened to the reports delivered by the Hangzhou market regulation bureau, the Hangzhou development and reform commission and the Hangzhou construction committee.

He noted that Hangzhou still has a long way to go to become a city with internationally first-rated business environment.

He urged departments to further streamline the approval procedures, reduce the submission of paper materials and decrease the visits of companies to the government departments for approvals.
