Hangzhou to enact legislation on City Brain system
Hangzhou, the capital of East China's Zhejiang province, plans to enact laws and regulations on its City Brain system, a smart city platform aiming to improve urban management with the use of big data, cloud computing and artificial intelligence (AI), among other cutting-edge technologies, according to a list of legislation projects released by the standing committee of the Hangzhou Municipal People's Congress May 6.
This year, the standing committee of the Hangzhou Municipal People's Congress announced 15 legislation projects, which involve the City Brain system, protection of the Chun'an Special Ecological Function Area, property management and other issues.
The new laws will standardize data sharing, application scenes, social coordination and more aspects of the City Brain, and encourage innovation in the system.
