Chinese automaker Geely's car sales up 20% in May

Chinese carmaker Geely reported a 20 percent year-on-year growth in car sales in May.
Last month, Geely sold a total of 108,822 vehicles, up 3 percent from the previous month.
Car sales of the Zhejiang-based company in the first five months totaled 420,317, accounting for 30 percent of the company's sales target of 1.41 million throughout the year.
Among the vehicles, Geely sold 6,101 new energy vehicles in May, up about 12 percent from the previous month.
