Hangzhou in Zhejiang province will host its first Innovation and Entrepreneurship Day for university students on June 13.
The event is part of Hangzhou's 3-year plan to encourage college and university students to partake in R&D or start their own businesses. The municipal government has set June 13 as an occasion to accelerate the coming together of innovative talents.
This year's event will take place at the Academic Exchange Center in Zhejiang Hangzhou Future Sci-Tech City, with over hundreds of angel investors, startup service agencies, and university representatives participating.
There will also be successful young entrepreneurs sharing their experiences, startups looking for new blood, and anchors conducting live streams.
The mascot Qingqing symbolizes Hangzhou's technology and energy while Hehe symbolizes enthusiasm and intelligence. Together, they showcase the city's sincerity in inviting global talents and building a shared future.
