A poverty relief delegation led by Hangzhou mayor Liu Xin visited Enshi Tujia and Miao autonomous prefecture in Central China's Hubei province from June 29 to July 1.
Wang Xiaodong, governor of Hubei, welcomed the delegation and expressed his gratitude to Hangzhou for its dedication to lifting Enshi out of poverty and offering timely support in the fight against COVID-19 earlier this year.
Liu Xin said Hangzhou is willing and able to shoulder the responsibility of east-west coordination. The city has always valued Enshi's development and will offer industrial, consumption and intellectual support to the prefecture in order to help it make the most of its unique resources and further alleviate poverty.
