Huyuan town in Fuyang district, Hangzhou, capital of East China's Zhejiang province, is a perfect destination for people looking to escape the scorching summer heat.
The town is filled with meandering paths, crystal-clear waters, and green hills. One of the most popular attractions is the Dragon Scale Dam. When viewed from above, the foldable barrage structure resembles the scales of a dragon, giving the dam its name.

Visitors can also do some drifting on Huyuan Lake and experience 60-meter-drops. Be ready for thrills and spills. The drifting route takes people past 12 different scenic spots.

The town is also home to Shangzang village, which is famous for its four large rivers, each covering an area of 70,000 square meters.
