A pleasure boat at the West Lake has recently been used to host live streams, as part of efforts to boost Hangzhou's night-time economy, with viewers able to purchase souvenirs promoted on each broadcast.

On Aug 25, which is also this year's Qixi Festival (Chinese Valentine's Day), a livestream was held to introduce the tales and customs of the special day.
