A digital art exhibition titled Joy in Patterns, organized by Hangzhou-based Guansheng Culture, is set to debut at the 19th Hangzhou Cultural & Creative Industry Expo 2025, bringing ancient Chinese motifs into the digital age.
Blending traditional artistry with cutting-edge technology, the exhibition transforms auspicious symbols — like lotus flowers, cranes, dragons, and phoenixes — into interactive light and motion experiences. Visitors can step into a kaleidoscopic mirror room, "weave" flowing patterns with their fingertips, and awaken mythical motifs through AI-powered installations.
The exhibition also features a design market with over 100 creative products inspired by traditional patterns, from chic tote bags to collectible blind boxes — merging traditional culture with modern lifestyle.
In this digital celebration, centuries-old blessings of joy and prosperity find new life, inviting visitors to see, touch, and take home a piece of timeless good fortune.
