The 2025 Hangzhou Marathon unveiled its race route, upgraded medal, new race T-shirt, and first-ever mascot at a press conference on Oct 28.

The marathon will kick off at 7 am on Nov 2, starting from Huanglong Sports Center and passing scenic landmarks such as West Lake, Yanggong Causeway, and the Qiantang River. The half marathon will finish at Hangzhou Civic Center, and the full marathon at the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center.

This year's mascot Yueyue draws inspiration from Hangzhou's signature dish — West Lake Vinegar Fish — symbolizing vitality and agility. The race medal and apparel also highlight the city's fusion of classical charm and modern energy.

Organizers have enhanced safety measures with 160 AEDs, 550 medical observers, and 26 medical stations. On race day, metro services will start 30 minutes early, and participants can enjoy smart features such as facial recognition check-in and AI-generated race memories.
