The Dasong 108 Trail Race kicked off at Wushan Square, Hangzhou on Nov 9, attracting 3,800 domestic and international runners.

Spanning 6 kilometers, 21 km, and 42 km courses, the race traced iconic sites including City God Pavilion, Yuhuang Mountain, and Jiuxi Creek, blending natural beauty with Hangzhou's rich Song Dynasty (960-1279)heritage.

The event, jointly organized by Hangzhou's Shangcheng district cultural and sports authorities, combined competitive running with immersive cultural experiences. Along the route, participants encountered interactive Song-era themed stations, local delicacies, and historical storytelling, turning the race into a moving cultural map of the city.

A concurrent book fair and talent-run segment further merged sports, culture, and community. The race not only showcased Hangzhou's scenic and cultural assets but also boosted local tourism and economy, reinforcing the city's strategy of integrating heritage, sports, and urban vitality.
