Hangzhou shoppers are flocking to try Quark's newly released AI glasses, which feature voice recognition, instant translation, photo-based problem solving, and on-screen navigation powered by Hangzhou-based tech giant Alibaba's latest Qwen AI assistant.

At the Quark AI Glasses experience zone, located inside an optical store at Hangzhou's MixC Mall, customers waited up to 20 minutes just to test the full range of functions.

"These are the smartest glasses I've ever used," said tech enthusiast Xu Cong, who visited on Nov 28. "The AI assistant responds extremely fast, and the translation is very practical."

Quark launched six models across its S1 and G1 series on Nov 27. The new models integrate Qwen's upgraded voice interaction, image recognition, navigation display, smart reminders, and cross-app services with Alipay, Amap, Taobao, and Fliggy, as well as partners like QQ Music, NetEase Cloud Music, and Flight Manager.

Quark AI glasses are now available for trial and purchase in 604 stores across 82 cities nationwide, though supply remains tight. Many consumers can only try the devices in-store and place reservations, with deliveries expected in about a month.
