National People's Congress deputies conduct pre-session inspection in Hangzhou

Deputies to the National People's Congress (NPC) from Zhejiang carried out a pre-session inspection in the provincial capital of Hangzhou on March 2. The visit aimed to provide firsthand insights ahead of the upcoming fourth session of the 14th NPC.
During the inspection, deputies were briefed on Zhejiang's progress in building an innovation-driven economy and a modern industrial system.
In Yuhang district, they visited the supergravity experimental building at Zhejiang University to review the development and application of advanced centrifugal simulation facilities. In Xihu district, they toured Cloud Town, learning about the humanoid robot pilot testing and application service platform, as well as indoor and outdoor testing bases. The delegation also visited Ant Group to examine achievements in artificial intelligence and inclusive technology.
Deputies praised Zhejiang's accomplishments during the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021–25) and expressed confidence in future development. They said they would focus on high-quality growth, innovation, balanced economic expansion and issues of public concern when submitting proposals and suggestions at the national legislative session.
