A major trade and consumption event under China's "Big Market for All: Export to China" initiative will take place in Hangzhou from March 15 to 17 at the Hangzhou International Expo Center.
Hosted by China's Ministry of Commerce and the Zhejiang provincial government, the event — titled "Zheli Buys Global & Consumption Launches in Hangzhou" — aims to integrate import trade with consumption upgrading and showcase China's vast market opportunities.
The exhibition will feature imported goods and domestic consumer products across multiple themed zones. Global companies such as Siemens will present advanced products including aircraft auxiliary power units and chips, while platforms like Alibaba and Douyin will showcase cross-border e-commerce services, allowing visitors to order goods on-site for direct delivery.
A dedicated section will display products from BRICS countries, offering specialty goods from 15 nations. Another area will highlight new consumption trends with products from companies such as Unitree Robotics and Robam Appliances.
The event will also distribute consumer vouchers offering discounts of up to 300 yuan ($43.5) per purchase to stimulate spending.
Following the expo, the city will launch a consumption season on March 21, featuring events such as the Hubin International Beauty Festival and the Xixi Huazhao Festival, aiming to create a citywide consumption boom.
