Hangzhou secured a 2-1 away victory over Taizhou in Round 7 of the 2026 Zhejiang City Football League (Wuyue Cup) on May 5, moving up to second place with 16 points.

After a goalless first half, Hangzhou broke the deadlock thanks to top scorer Wu Haoyi, whose goal was confirmed after a video assistant referee (VAR) review. Jin Yihang doubled the lead in the 70th minute, finishing a well-orchestrated team move.

Taizhou scored a goal late in the second half, but Hangzhou held firm to seal the win.

Wu Haoyi now leads the scoring chart with five goals, while Jin also ranks among the top scorers with three.

Hangzhou will host Zhoushan in their next match on May 10.
