The 2026 Binjiang International Talent Month opened in Hangzhou on May 26, with Binjiang district unveiling a series of new initiatives aimed at attracting global talent and supporting innovation-driven entrepreneurship.

At the opening ceremony, Binjiang introduced 10 new support measures for AI entrepreneurs and announced the launch of a dedicated talent fund focused on early- and mid-stage technology startups led by high-level talent.

Eight talent projects were signed during the event, covering frontier sectors including artificial intelligence, integrated circuits and the low-altitude economy. A new Talent-Industry Collaborative Innovation Center was also launched to strengthen connections between talent recruitment, innovation resources and industrial development.

Two new talent landmarks — the Hegui International Talent Lounge and Talent Park —were unveiled, further expanding the district's talent service ecosystem.

Entrepreneurs shared their experiences of building businesses in Binjiang, highlighting the district's strong innovation environment, dense talent pool and supportive policies.

During the month-long event, Binjiang will host 25 activities focused on technology exchange, industrial cooperation and entrepreneurship, reinforcing its position as one of Hangzhou's leading innovation and talent hubs.
