The 14th International Culture Festival at Zhejiang University of Technology came to a close on May 31, wrapping up more than a month of cultural exchange under the theme "Dreaming global with AI power".
More than 1,000 Chinese and international students, faculty members, and guests joined the festival's finale, which featured a vibrant international fair and evening gala.
Over 20 country-themed booths showcased traditional food, clothing, crafts, and cultural experiences, offering visitors a journey across continents without leaving campus.
The event drew strong participation, with more than 1,000 festival passports distributed and hundreds of beverages redeemed within hours. Students from around the world introduced their cultures through interactive activities, language exchanges, and performances.
As night fell, the campus lawn transformed into a global stage. Traditional costume shows, music performances, and dances from Asia, Africa and beyond highlighted the diversity of the university's international community.
Running from April 24 to May 31, the festival connected cultures, fostered friendships, and celebrated global understanding. Organizers said the event reflected Hangzhou's growing international appeal and provided a platform for young people from different backgrounds to learn from one another and build lasting connections.
