A front-row seat to China's EV innovation

A group of engineers from Geely's European operations has arrived in China for a six-month training program, providing them with a closer look at the technologies and fast-paced development behind the company's latest vehicles.
During the program, the visitors will spend time at Geely's headquarters in Hangzhou, the Hangzhou Bay Global R&D Center in Ningbo, and several key facilities involved in vehicle development and safety testing. They also attended a recent Zeekr product launch, where new technologies and smart mobility solutions were showcased.
Many of the engineers said they were struck by the speed at which new ideas are developed and brought to market. Several pointed to the close connection between research, engineering, and manufacturing as a key factor behind the rapid pace of innovation.
The training is part of Geely's efforts to strengthen collaboration across its global operations and give employees from different regions a deeper understanding of the company's products and technologies.
For the visiting engineers, the experience offers a closer look at the innovation and rapid development that have helped make China's electric vehicle industry a global leader.
