Hangzhou's CFMOTO earns 3 podium finishes in Europe over weekend

Hangzhou-based motorcycle manufacturer CFMOTO enjoyed a successful weekend on Europe's racing circuits, claiming a championship, a runner-up finish and a third-place podium spot across major competitions on June 20-21.
At the Portuguese round of the Spanish Superbike Championship (ESBK) in Estoril, Chinese teenager Sun Shengbo of the CFMOTO Aspar Team won both Moto4 races, extending his season tally to five victories and strengthening his lead in the championship standings.
Sun is a member of CFMOTO's Talent Program, a youth rider development initiative launched in 2023 to nurture Chinese racers through international training and competition.
Meanwhile, at the MotoGP weekend in Brno, Czech Republic, the CFMOTO Aspar Team also delivered strong performances. In the Moto3 class, rider Maximo Quiles finished third, securing his eighth podium of the season and maintaining the lead in the riders' standings with 186 points. Teammate Dennis Foggia fought back from 20th on the grid to finish seventh.
In Moto2, rider David Alonso claimed second place after a thrilling battle that was decided by just 0.096 seconds, earning his first podium finish of the season.
