Global youth dive into magic of Dragon Boat Festival
As the Dragon Boat Festival arrived, members of the Hangzhou International Youth Creativity Camp stepped into a world where ancient traditions met youthful energy. They tried Feihualing poetry games, admired elegant hairpin flower styling, tested their skills in touhu (pitch-pot), and wandered through a vibrant cultural market.
The highlight came at a spectacular hundred-table feast, where laughter, local flavors, and folk performances brought everyone together. For many international participants, it was their first Dragon Boat Festival—but certainly not their last.
A celebration of heritage, creativity, and friendship, the experience revealed the charm of Chinese culture in a way that words alone could never capture.
