A major exhibition featuring artworks inspired by Zhejiang's modernization and common prosperity opened at the Zhejiang Exhibition Hall in Hangzhou on June 25.
The exhibition, the first showcase of the "Hundred Artists, Thousand Works, Ten Thousand Miles" campaign, presents nearly 1,000 paintings and calligraphy works created by more than 100 artists who traveled across the province to capture its landscapes, industries and everyday life.
The exhibition highlights themes ranging from rural vitalization and cultural heritage to technological innovation, including Hangzhou's "Six Little Dragons" of tech startups, the booming ZheBA basketball league, Yiwu's global trade, and Zhejiang's cultural exports.
Artists said the project encouraged them to immerse themselves in communities and depict contemporary Zhejiang through traditional art forms.
The exhibition runs through July 20 and offers visitors a vivid portrait of a province balancing cultural heritage with innovation and high-quality development.
