The 2026 Global Cross-Border E-Commerce Trade Expo concluded in Hangzhou on July 11, attracting 129,000 visitors over three days and leading to potential purchases worth 2.38 billion yuan ($351 million).

Held at the Hangzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center, the expo covered 75,000 square meters and brought together 40 cross-border e-commerce platforms, 1,500 source manufacturers, 300 service providers, over 100 universities and global buyers, creating a full-chain ecosystem spanning sourcing, trade, logistics, marketing, talent and technology.

The expo featured a dedicated "AI + Cross-Border E-Commerce" zone for the first time, showcasing AI-powered solutions in product selection, content creation, marketing and supply chain management. Hangzhou-based companies also presented smart products including robots, smart home devices and wearable technologies, highlighting new opportunities for Chinese brands expanding abroad.

The event launched initiatives to support industrial clusters and cross-border e-commerce pilot zones in expanding overseas markets. More than 200 overseas buyers participated in matchmaking sessions with manufacturers, with the international procurement zone securing 1.52 billion yuan in intended purchases on its opening day.

A dedicated talent pavilion also connected nearly 200 companies with job seekers, attracting more than 5,000 applicants and resulting in more than 1,800 job matches, further strengthening Hangzhou's cross-border e-commerce ecosystem.
