Hangzhou-based ArteryFlow Technology Co has won the 2026 WIPO Global Awards, becoming the second company from Hangzhou's Binjiang district to receive the honor in two consecutive years.

The award, presented at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) headquarters in Geneva on July 10, recognizes companies that use intellectual property to advance innovation and sustainable development. ArteryFlow was selected from more than 1,300 applications from 126 countries.

Founded by a team of overseas-trained scientists, the company applies computational fluid dynamics and AI to cardiovascular diagnosis. Its AccuFFR technology can assess coronary artery function non-invasively using CT or angiography images, producing key blood-flow data within three minutes. The technology has received regulatory approvals in China, the United States and the European Union.

The company has filed more than 170 invention patent applications and holds over 100 core patents.

The win follows Hangzhou-based Unitree Robotics' WIPO Global Award in 2025. In 2024, Binjiang-based HyperChain Technology also reached the award's final stage, highlighting the district's growing intellectual property and innovation ecosystem.
