The ninth Cross-Strait Youth Development Forum will open in Hangzhou on July 17, bringing together more than 1,000 guests and young representatives from the Chinese mainland and Taiwan.

The annual forum serves as a platform for young people from both sides to exchange ideas and explore opportunities for shared development. This year's event will feature discussions spanning technological innovation, culture and youth development, with speakers sharing perspectives on the opportunities and challenges facing younger generations.

The 2026 Zhejiang-Taiwan Youth Exchange Season will also launch during the forum. Six themed study programs will take participants across Zhejiang, exploring traditional culture, youth aspirations, rural development, future industries, family traditions and the province's landscapes.

The forum is expected to provide a platform for deeper exchanges and connections among young people from both sides.
