Thirteen-year-old Chinese rider Sun Shengbo swept both Moto4 races at the fourth round of the 2026 ESBK Spanish Superbike Championship, Spain's premier road racing competition, held at MotorLand Aragon on July 19, strengthening his lead in the season standings.

Racing for the CFMOTO Aspar Junior Team, Sun qualified on pole and led both races from start to finish, claiming two dominant victories at one of Europe's most demanding circuits, which regularly hosts MotoGP and WorldSBK events.

With seven wins and one runner-up finish from the first eight races, Sun now holds an 85-point lead over his nearest rival. If he extends that advantage to more than 100 points after the next round in Valencia on Sept 13, he will clinch the 2026 ESBK Moto4 championship with two races remaining.

The latest triumph follows Sun's 2025 FIM MotoMini 190cc world title and highlights the progress of CFMOTO's youth development program, which aims to prepare promising Chinese riders for international competition and a future pathway to MotoGP.
