Yesterday, Geely Holding's green mobility service provider, CaoCao Mobility, launched pilot operations of its unmanned robotaxis in Hangzhou.

The unmanned robotaxi pilot features CaoCao Mobility's Green Intelligent Mobility Hubs which integrate a range of services such as automated charging, cleaning, and vehicle inspection.

Through the CaoCao app, users can trial this autonomous driving experience in an unmanned Zeekr 9X.

The test vehicles all come with CaoCao's Smart Remote Safety Service Platform which manages the safety of the vehicles, emergency response, and real-time remote driving assistance.

Looking ahead, CaoCao Mobility plans to introduce Eva Cab, China's first purpose-built robotaxi vehicle, as it expands its autonomous mobility ecosystem.

The Hangzhou pilot marks an important milestone in CaoCao Mobility's three-phase strategy to deploy more than 100,000 robotaxis and 100,000 robovans across 100 cities by 2030.
