Hangzhou International Airport, China's seventh-busiest airport by passenger volume, launched a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) clinic on July 29.

Known as the Qiubenshanlan TCM Healthy Living Center, the 360-square-meter facility is located on the second floor of Terminal 4 and is the first of its kind to open at a major Chinese airport handling more than 10 million passengers annually.

It was jointly developed by Zhejiang Provincial Airport Group and Zhejiang Chinese Medical University and has been designated a pilot project for Hangzhou's international consumption environment.

Blending tradition and digital innovation, the center offers acupuncture, tuina massage, and dog-day plaster therapy, alongside AI facial diagnosis and intelligent massage equipment. It features an herbal tea and coffee area, a physiotherapy zone, and a TCM cultural and creative product section.

During its first three days of operation, the center hosted free clinics, traditional craft workshops, and special TCM sessions. These events served both travelers and airport staff, while showcasing traditional Chinese medical culture to domestic and international visitors.
