A child interacts with "Panda", the world's first proactive emotional companion robot for children, during its launch on July 28 at Hangzhou Robot School in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province. Using multimodal perception and affective computing technologies, the panda-like robot features humanlike body temperatures and offers an interactive experience enabling it to understand the child, express itself, act proactively, retain long-term memories, display emotions and grow alongside the child.
