All shooting events of the 2026 ISSF World Cup concluded at Yinhu Sports Center in Fuyang district, Hangzhou on July 28, with 686 athletes from 60 countries and regions competing for 15 gold medals over 10 days.

The event marked China's return to hosting all events of the ISSF World Cup after 18 years and was the country's largest and highest-level international shooting competition since the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.

China topped both the gold medal and overall medal standings with seven gold, six silver and five bronze medals. Among the highlights was a home victory by Hangzhou-born shooter Wang Zifei, who teamed up with Olympic champion Sheng Lihao to win the 10m air rifle mixed team title.

The duo scored 505.0 points in the final, securing their third consecutive World Cup victory in the event this season after wins in Granada, Spain, and Munich, Germany.

For Wang, the gold medal carried special meaning. The Fuyang native began her shooting journey at an outdoor range at a local primary school before rising to the international stage.

The tournament also saw several world records broken, including two by Chinese shooters Yao Qianxun and Hu Kai in the 10m air pistol mixed team event.

As a venue of the 2023 Hangzhou Asian Games, Fuyang Yinhu Sports Center received praise from ISSF President Luciano Rossi for its world-class facilities, event organization and services.

Beyond the competition, the event showcased Hangzhou's cultural appeal, with athletes experiencing traditional performances, a cruise along the Fuchun River and demonstrations of traditional crafts such as bamboo paper-making, brush-making and silk weaving.

Following the success of the World Cup, the sports center will continue to host international shooting events, including the 2027 ISSF Shotgun World Cup.
