The Hangzhou Children's Art Troupe Choir won the children's choir category at the 14th World Choir Games Champions Competition in Helsingborg, Sweden, scoring a competition-high 96.75 points.

Competing against leading choirs from around the world, the young singers performed four Chinese works, earning 42 perfect scores from seven judges across the individual evaluations.

The choir also won a gold award and placed third in the folklore category a day earlier, despite performing at a time equivalent to 2 am in China after a long journey and adjusting to jet lag.

Founded in 1985, the Hangzhou Children's Art Troupe Choir has earned numerous honors at home and abroad. It previously won a gold medal in the children's choir category at the eighth World Choir Games and was named the top-performing choir at a national children's music showcase in 2024.
