Hangzhou, capital of Zhejiang province, will host two major technology and digital trade events from Sept 22 to 27, bringing together AI developers, businesses, and global buyers to explore how AI is moving from technology development to real-world applications and international trade.
The 2026 Apsara Conference, themed "Intelligence Goes Beyond," will take place from Sept 22 to 24 at Hangzhou International Expo Center and feature three main forums, more than 120 subforums, over 2,000 speakers, and a 50,000-square-meter exhibition area with more than 1,000 companies.
The fifth Global Digital Trade Expo will be held from Sept 23 to 27 at Hangzhou Grand Convention and Exhibition Center, with public access beginning at 1 pm on Sept 24. Under the theme "Meet the AI Future at Global Digital Trade Expo," it will bring together groups from eight countries, 29 international organizations, nearly 500 AI companies, and about 10,000 international buyers.
The two events will connect technological development with global commerce. The Apsara Conference will highlight models, agents, computing power, and AI applications, while the Digital Trade Expo will focus on cross-border trade, international cooperation, and commercial applications.
Together, the two events will showcase Hangzhou's role in connecting AI technology with industrial applications and global trade.
