The Hangzhou International Expo Center, located along the Qiantang River in Zhejiang province, is marking its 10th anniversary since opening in September 2016 as the main venue of the G20 Hangzhou Summit.

Over the past decade, the large-scale convention and exhibition complex has hosted more than 11,100 conferences and events and over 520 exhibitions, with total exhibition space exceeding 10 million square meters. It now hosts more than 1,000 events annually and continues to benefit from the momentum generated by the summit.

The venue has expanded beyond professional exhibitions to include cultural and tourism events, weddings, and other activities, reflecting its shift toward a more diversified, market-oriented, and brand-driven business model.

From its construction and role in major diplomatic events to its contribution to the upgrading of Hangzhou's convention and exhibition industry, the center has both witnessed and supported the city's development.
