More than 36,000 inbound arrivals are expected through Hangzhou's port of entry during the fifth Global Digital Trade Expo, according to the Zhejiang General Station of Exit and Entry Frontier Inspection.

From Sept 19 to 22, more than 29,000 inbound arrivals were recorded, up 6.5 percent from the previous week.

The Zhejiang border inspection authority and Zhejiang Provincial Department of Public Security have introduced six measures to improve entry and immigration services, including port visa facilitation, dedicated clearance lanes, multilingual assistance, rapid online responses, and on-site services.

Dedicated entry lanes and multilingual information desks have been set up at airports, while the 12367 immigration service platform is providing real-time assistance in six languages.

Immigration service points at the exhibition venue can handle visa extensions and replacements and residence permit applications for foreign visitors with business, trade, or investment needs.

Foreign exhibitors and buyers unable to obtain a Chinese visa overseas in time may apply for port visas through the relevant authorities in Hangzhou, Ningbo, Wenzhou, or Yiwu. If approved, they can enter through the corresponding port.
