A new energy flash butt welder for multiple scenarios was used for the first time to perform welding operations on steel rails on Sunday at the construction site of the Hangzhou-Deqing Suburban Railway in East China's Zhejiang province.

The device adopts a hybrid power mode, equipped with an intelligent energy management system, and supports a "charging while welding" mode. It can independently complete the welding of 50 rail joints once fully charged, ensuring continuous and stable construction in areas without external power sources.
