Hangzhou has launched its seasonal spring-summer night mode, activating extended landscape lighting across the city for nearly six months to enhance evening tourism and public leisure.

Key areas — including the Qiantang River skyline and major commercial districts such as Hubin, Wulin, Wushan, and Qianjiang New City — will be illuminated daily from 19:00 to 22:30. Other districts will light up on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays during the same hours.

Light shows and fountain performances will run on fixed schedules: Qiantang River light show on select evenings, Qianjiang New City and Wulin Square fountain shows daily, and West Lake music fountain every night at 19:30.

Blending riverfront skylines, lake scenery, and urban landmarks, Hangzhou's nightscape now enters a seasonal rhythm of light and music, offering a more vibrant evening experience for residents and visitors.
