The 2026 Zhejiang-Taiwan Cooperation Week will open in Hangzhou on May 26, bringing together guests from across the Taiwan Strait, including business leaders, industry association representatives, entrepreneurs, and delegate Taiwan youth groups and enterprises.

This year's event features an opening ceremony and a main forum in Hangzhou, two themed sub-events, and a series of site visits and business matchmaking activities.

Over the years, Zhejiang has continued to deepen economic and industrial cooperation with Taiwan, making the annual cooperation week an important platform for cross-Strait business engagement and regional development.

A key highlight will be the launch of the Zhejiang Alliance for High-Tech and Listed Taiwan-Funded Enterprises, aimed at bringing together innovation resources and capital market advantages to support business upgrading and deeper integration into Zhejiang's development agenda.

The opening ceremony will also feature discussions among entrepreneurs and scholars from both sides on topics including innovation-driven growth, emerging productive forces, improving livelihoods, and opportunities presented by China's upcoming development cycle.

Organizers say the event is expected to further expand practical cooperation, encourage innovation, and strengthen Zhejiang-Taiwan economic and industrial ties.
