World record bridge connected

The Yongjiang Grand Bridge, a key part of the Hangzhou-Ningbo expressway extension in Ningbo, East China's Zhejiang Province, achieves closure on June 30, after the final steel-concrete composite girder segment was precisely installed. The 1,730-meter-long three-tower asymmetric cable-stayed bridge features two main spans of 540 and 570 meters, setting a world record for its class. Photo: VCG
