A space computing constellation designed for the global market will debut at the fifth Global Digital Trade Expo in Hangzhou on Sept 23, offering a glimpse into the integration of AI and commercial space technology.

Star Vision, a space AI company based in Xihu district in Hangzhou, will make its fourth consecutive appearance at the expo, jointly launching the "Tai Kong Zhi Xian (String of Space)" computing constellation with Star AI. Three satellite models will also make their debuts.

The constellation is set to eventually deploy more than 1,000 space-based intelligent agents, creating computing infrastructure designed to provide services across space. The companies will also share updates on lunar and Mars exploration projects.

Star Vision will create an immersive Mars-themed experience at the expo, where visitors can try on simulated spacesuits and take photos against dynamic LED imagery. A limited supply of "Mars coffee" will also be available.

A prototype lunar exploration robot developed under an international cooperation project of China's lunar exploration program will be displayed alongside technologies for lunar exploration and autonomous navigation. A blueprint for a next-generation space data center will also be presented.

According to Huang Yudan, a representative of Star Vision, the expo has provided an international platform for connecting its space AI computing capabilities to global markets.

Xihu district has also accelerated the development of its commercial space industry, with more than 60 core companies and 300 related enterprises now forming an industrial ecosystem spanning key components, space AI, and space cloud computing.
